Currently, more than 50 medical schools use the first edition as a model in the development and implementation of their own nutrition curriculum. This second edition will provide updated material that includes essential topics based upon the National Academy of Sciences report, Nutrition Education in U.S. Medical Schools. It also can be used for more than one course over several years.
