09/27/2004: This trade paperback collects the issues of Brad Meltzer's run on Green Arrow that laid the conceptual groundwork for his excellent 'Identity Crisis' miniseries. It is not heavy on slam-bang action, but the dialogue is very well written and the characters are given unexpected depth--a nice surprise and all too uncommon in superhero comics. If you are curious about a reflective peek inside the mind, motivations, and personal life of a superhero, 'Archer's Quest' will be a treat.
