The award-winning PostSecret project's most profound and stunning postcards to date
For the past three years Frank Warren has invited people of all backgrounds and nationalities to send him creatively decorated postcards bearing secrets they have never before revealed. He has shared these PostSecrets on his award-winning blog, www.PostSecret.com, in an internationally traveling art exhibit, and in three electrifying books: the bestselling PostSecret, My Secret, and The Secret Lives of Men and Women.
Now, in his most extraordinary book yet, Warren again delves into our collective confessions, presenting a never-before-seen selection of provocative and moving PostSecrets. A Lifetime of Secrets lays bare our private fears, hopes, regrets, and desires, from people as young as eight and as old as eighty. From painful admissions of infidelity to breathtaking revelations and endearing sentiments, Warrens latest collection will shock and move readers of every age, revealing secrets that have haunted their creators for a lifetime.
Frank Warren is a small business owner who started PostSecret.com as a community art project. Since November 2004 Warren has received more than 150,000 anonymous postcards. The website won two Webby Awards in 2006 and this year was named Weblog of the Year at the Seventh Annual Weblog Awards. The PostSecret project also received a special award from the National Mental Health Association for raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention. Warren lives in Germantown, Maryland, with his wife and daughter.

03/03/2009: My daughter loves the book so much, she purchased another one in the series. However, when I purchased this for Christmas, I learned Grandma had already purchased the same book for her already.
After receiving an email telling me the shipment was delayed, offering me a link to cancel the order, I selected the link to do so; however, I received what appeared to be an auto-generated msg telling me oops, I could not cancel as it was already in process.A day after ... I received another email apologizing for the delay in shipping and the book might arrive by Christmas, so I contacted B&N Customer Service phone line to return the book. Finally, we arrived at the conclusion, I could return at the local store, but to get credit for the shipping, I had to call Customer Service again after the book was returned.Bottom line ... daughter is happy with book from Grandma, I received credit for book and shipping after two emails, two phone calls and a trip to the local store, which I felt was a bit much just to return a book, which was offered to cancel via email but rejected when attempted to do so.Oh well, not going to stop me from returning to B&N.Reader Rating:
