02/13/2003: My mother borrowed this book from the library and I just had to have my own copy, so I purchased it! This book adds new meaning to "another man's junk is another man's treasure". Great for those who are bored with traditional decorating, and, for those who may not have alot of money to spend.

02/03/2001: I love antiquing and interior design and I love this book! It's features charming, unique homes and the decorating advice of the real people who pulled them together. I find that flipping through it right before I head out to garage/estate sales etc really sharpens my sense of the possible in an object and hones my ability to separate trash from treasure 'in the field'. This book inspires me to trust that the random items I'm drawn to will look great together and help to create a space that reflects me. Fun!
