09/28/2009: I bought two London tourist books. I read this one almost cover to cover at least twice before my trip and hardly used the other. Rick Steves' book was an easy read with excellent tips for what to see, when to see it, how to best get around the city and manage my budget. Rick Steves' books will be my first choice for all European travel in the future!

08/29/2009: I was very disappointed. I watch his TV show and expected more. It was a very superficial book. I could find most of this information in any other guidebook. I left the book at home.
