04/21/2000: This book presents us with a criticisim of the fairy tales we have heard and read throughout our lives; from the original versions, to modern versions, to similar versions from non-western cultures. It analyses the images and the morals presented in the stories. It really takes the 'innocent' out of the stories. Definitively something to have on your bookshelf.
