04/23/2008: i only have one problem with this book it seems to be missing a single poem by Poe titled Alone as it is one of my favs i was disappointed not to see it here

07/03/2006: I'm a huge Edgar Allan Poe fan, and this is great because it's the most complete- 70-something stories, 50-something poems and some other Poe essays. His writings are very dark- my favorite stories are The Tell-Tale Heart, The Masque of the Red Death, and Hop-Frog. My favorite poem is 'The Raven' by far, it's a Poe classic
