03/02/2009: This is the third copy of this book I have bought. The first copy, which is still in my library, I purchased to use with elementary age children in the gardening program I developed at my daughter's school. I also purchased a copy for the school's library and have now purchased one for my granddaughter to encourage her love of plants, gardens and growing food.

The activities are fun and easy. The writing is clear. The stories about different plants are interesting.

Highly recommend this book for anyone working with children and gardens.
