02/09/2009: Not only is this book easy to read and understand, it provides a plethora of information about shrubs and trees. You can't find a more comprehensive book of this kind in the midwest. As a master gardener, this has helped me identify trees just by type of bark or a leaf sample. This book is a plus for any gardener's book shelf.

02/05/2009: If you are a serious gardener this is a book for you. Have it in my reference library and love it. If you don't want to plant a variety of shrub next to your home that is going to be 50 feet tall and 30 feet wide then this book is a must. There is so much valuable information in this book!!!
