07/09/2008: After living with moderate to severe hypertension all of my adult life I decided recently to do something about it. My Doctor wanted me to take drugs to control my blood pressure but before I agreed to this I wanted to be sure that I had done everything I could do myself. I found this book on a Web Search and was drawn to it because the author's name is the same as my own. I ordered it and several others. I found the book to be a well written, no nonsense introduction to Hypertension and a very consise summary of methodologies to naturally lower blood pressure through healthy and sensible lifestyle changes. There is no miracle cure, weight loss, excercise, relaxation techniques and sound nutrition are all explored in a clear manner free from the infomercialese that you see so often in self help books these days (in a moment I will share with you two POWERFUL techniques to lower your blood pressure- none of that). The book is well worth the money and is sure to give anybody who is interested a short comprehensive course in natural blood pressure management information and real life techniques for blood pressure control.
