10/29/2008: Kathryne Kennedy's Magical England is a good idea (One that has been done before, but still a good idea). The plot itself is even good, but what had it missing the mark is that I felt that Kennedy expected us to read her mind. Things were only half explained and jumbled here and there. I was frustrated half the time and delighted the other half. I know that the fear in writing is that there will be to much description and not enough action but when you are introducing a new world like this, a little set up is necessary for the reader. I still found myself rooting for Jasmina and Sir Sterling however much I got frustrated; so I must give her high marks on creating leading characters to cheer for. Also, I still have high hopes for this author and am trying another of her books. We'll see.
I Also Recommend: Dreaming of You, Romancing Mister Bridgerton (Bridgerton Series #4).

09/22/2008: I loved her first book in this series, so needless to say I had to pick up her next one. I couldn't put it down. It held me captivated all the way through it. Lady Jasmina is a character everyone loves and the handsome hero is enough to make any woman swoon. With a mysterious group running around called the Brotherhood and Jasmina's double amidst all the action, how can you not read this from start to finish in one sitting?
