08/30/2002: President Grant has shown us what an excellent memory for fact and detail he maintained even until his last days! Being a dedicated reader of American History I found this piece of work to be both though provoking and insightful in the way it vividly brought to life one of the truly most terrible times in our nations history! I highly recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about the Civil War, and the lasting effects it had on our nation!
