    Synopsis

When Soah's impoverished, desperate village decides to sacrifice her to the Water God Habaek to end a long drought, they believe that drowning one beautiful girl will save their entire community and bring much-needed rain. Not only is Soah surprised to be rescued by the Water God - instead of killed - she never imagined she'd be a welcomed guest in Habaek's magical kingdom, where an exciting new life awaits her! Most surprising, however, is the Water God himself... and how very different he is from the monster Soah imagined.

05/14/2009: This story is actually just a basic retelling of the mythological story of Cupid and Psyche, where she is forced to marry a mysterious god whose presence and appearance from day to night are different, or in the original story, it's more like his 'presence' because he never shows himself to her and only come to her at night when the lights are out so she can't see him, even though he's beautiful. He wants her to trust him no matter who he is or what he looks like. This is my first time reading a manwha, I find that regular manga flows better, but that's just me. I do like this story though, don't think that i don't. The story is intruiging, the characters having their own unexplained motivations, etc.
