Purpose:The purpose is to provide a single, comprehensive reference to use in the diagnosis of pulmonary and cardiovascular disease through the interpretation of chest radiographs and advanced imaging techniques. This is definitely a worthwhile objective as the imaging techniques in field of thoracic radiology have seen significant advances but thoracic radiology remains a very challenging area for radiology residents and practicing radiologists. The authors have provided an excellent book that meets their objective.

Radiology residents will find this to be a very well written, readable text with excellent images, comprehensive differential diagnoses and numerous tables listing specific disease characteristics.
