02/10/2009: I am currently taking the AP US history class at my school and I have to say that this book has been of great help to me. I have been able to stay on top of my game on subjects we've studied since September and thanks to the way the book is written, to the point, I was able to review with confidence and ultimately score a 93% on my midterm. Last year I purchased Cracking The AP World History Exam and thanks to a great teacher and the book to supplement, I scored a 5 on the AP! A 5...the highest possible score!
I Also Recommend: Cracking the AP World History Exam 2008.

07/28/2008: I did not have a good AP US History teacher her passing rate is rumored to be about 5-10%. We spent about 2/3 of the year talking about current events and the other 1/3 watching 'historical' movies. Oh, I almost forgot, two weeks before the test we hadn't covered ANY of the 20th century, and we covered all of the wars in one day, the day before the test!!! We learned about vietnam for 3 minutes before the bell rang, and it was the topic of the DBQ!! It was ridiculous. Luckily, the weeks up to the test, I read this guide, and I have to say, it is the only reason I passed. If you are taking AP US History, buy this guide.
