07/06/2005: This 'gem' of a book was suggested to me in 1991. As a single parent of 3 sons (at the time two were teenagers) I was frustrated and needed answers. I followed the easy steps in the book and was amazed at the results. It totally changed my methods of parenting by giving me the tools necessary to invoke positive responses in my sons. They are now adults and I continue to use Dr. Dreikurs techniques with my nine year old granddaughter. I have given many copies of this book as gifts to my family and friends. 'Don't wait another minute...purchase this book'.
