09/27/2004: I wanted an atlas that had informative stories and interesting illustrations & photos in addition to current maps, suitable for elementary through high school studies. Price was not a limitation and this atlas was my first choice even though it was one of the least expensive. This is the kind of book you and your kids can enjoy exploring together and that can inform you when you follow current events or travel.
