    11/13/2006: Inmon has covered the great details about the fundamentals of Datawarehousing in very easily understandable nature. I'm new to Data Warehousing and I haven't found any simple title on Datawarehousing that tried to explain and cover all topics to beginners. Inmon has done a great job in explaining complete evolution of DSS systems and about the Data warehouse environment and designing. I especially liked his style in chapter 6 which is Distributed Data Warehouse. He tried to touch all the important concepts with real world examples. Chapter 9 Migration to the Architected environment is one of the finest chapters that dig in to more technical details. Chapter 10 has clear content that shares enough knowledge to understand the connection between web and publishing data warehousing. chapter 16 has exclusive subject on ODS systems and it explained in a well fashion about the End user community. Overall, I recommend this book to all new bees and who wanted to grow as a good Professionals in Data warehousing.
