    Synopsis

Over the decades in which vinyl ruled the turntables, there were some fantastic, ground-breaking album cover designs. However simultaneously there was also a plethora of superlatively bad album titles and designs by artists and record companies. Some album covers may be doomed to awfulness by artist's bad hair, others by their terrible dress sense, but many by an incomprehensibly strange choice of props.

The Worst Covers Ever takes a satirical look at 80 covers whose sheer bad taste ensures their place in the annals of music history for evermore.

10/21/2007: 'Organ Fascination'. Check out that gorgeous woman, bare from the shoulders up, looking down dreamily at....the organs of the naked guys on the album cover next to her! These books are a terrific tribute to how album covers could make or break a recording act including bad fashion, worse hairdos, and so many misrepresentations of Christmas. To all you little old ladies who collected good old Andy Williams and The Boston Pops, unless you have a good sense of humor, this book is not quite for you.
