"...two respected naturopathic doctors have revised & updated this comprehensive natural medicine resource... besides explaining how to battle more than 70 diseases through natural methods, it also addresses prevention."
Revised, updated, and expanded, this classic naturopathic reference by two naturopathic physicians is still one of the best books on natural medicine for consumers. Comprehensive and easy to use, it discusses some 70 health problems. What truly sets it apart from other similar titles are the scientific articles (82 pages in total!) that support the encyclopedia's content. Highly recommended. 08/20/2000: I have learned more from this book about the subject of Osteoporous than any other book or article I have purchased. I was surprised to find out that not all calcium is 'user friendly'; much of it contains lead as a result of the milling process. And not all calcium is easily absorbed. This book gives information about an assortment of health problems with possible solutions. I purchased the first copy from an health food store, and the book was worn when I bought it (most likely from people using it as a reference). One thing is for sure, you will not be disappointed, Encyclopedia of Natural Medician is a wealth of information.
