Comments from the Seller: United Kingdom 2003 Hard Cover Very Good in Very Good jacket 8vo-Between 7 3/4" and 9 3/4" 213 page book and DJ are in very good condition with slight edgewear/scuffing of cover. Monsieur Pamplemousse is present at the ending to Cuisine de Chavignol, France's premier television cooking show when the host utters a strangled cry and disappears from view behind a kitchen worktop after downing an oyster. Pommes Frites, Pamplemousse's sniffer dog extraordinaire, has his views on the matter since the chef was a bad egg. Subsequent events prove him right as usual, but not before both he and his master find themselves caught in a bizarre world of unrequited lust, murder, and blackmail in high places.
