    Larry Gonick is the creator of the bestselling Cartoon Guide series, comprised of nine books that have sold more than half a million copies and been translated into more than a dozen languages.     08/29/2001: Many of my students get confused over some of the rules/exceptions in statistics. I recommend this book to all of my students as a supplemental book to help clear the confusion. Gonick and Smith are savers of the statistical race!

    07/30/2000: I use the book to clarify information in my statistics text. The illustrations make it easy to apply the traditional formula applciation to relative situations. Very practical and useful.
