February 07, 2010: This book is very detailed. It covers everything in the house including caulking the tub. There are also obscure but useful things like illustrations identifying all the fancy bits of cutlery, i.e. fish forks, salt spoons, ect. I think Martha Stewart is saving us all from losing our civilization to clutter, grime, and stains.

February 06, 2010: Even as a married woman of 20 plus years, I found this book extremely helpful in organizing and getting the basics for cleaning. With all the products out there, it is hard to figure out what works and what is marketing hype. If you are young and just starting out or never were taught these by your mother this is a great reference book. I now have neatly organized closets thanks to Martha. It may seem old fashion, but what is old fashion about having a home that is comfortable, clean and inviting without spending all your time off getting it accomplished. I keep it handy for reference too.
Thanks Martha!
