    Synopsis

The third and final volume of this Arabic text expands the level of discussion, continuing the use of excerpts from the classical and modern Arabic literary tradition, and introducing the student to Arabic poetry. The study of vocabulary and grammar are expanded, with drills and suggested reading and writing exercises. The three authors teach Arabic, two are at Emory U. in the US, the third at the American U. in Cairo, Egypt.
