      April 26, 2005: Absolutely the very best book of it's kind, entertaining, loads of great information that is written in an easy-to-understand layout. Darlene Arden is my favorite pet author and I have enjoyed all three of her books because her writing style is not only informative but so entertaining as well. I use this book all the time because I have 4 dogs, 2 big and 2 little and Ms. Arden covers it all! I am a shopaholic when it comes to my dogs and Ms. Arden has opened up a much bigger dog world for me, things and places I never knew existed! I even think that a person who hasn't adopted a pet would love this book! Thank you so much, Darlene Arden, this is another winner!

      September 16, 2004: This book is unlike any other dog books I have (and I've got LOTS :-). It's full of all these amazing places to go, things to buy, things to do - that are dog-related. Although it's U.S.-based, websites for the companies make it a handy book even for non U.S. people like me, and there are international companies listed too. There are some really interesting things listed, and it's written in a very readable format. I read the whole book the evening it came, and it's very entertaining as well as useful. Anyone who is a dog-person would love this.
