    May 21, 2005: I like this book.. it was reallly hard to put down. It took me about 4 days to read. Also rea the 2nd and 3rd books in this trilodgy: Gathering blue and the messenger, both by lois lowry

    May 20, 2004: i read this book in 7th grade and loved it. not just spark notes, but the actual book. i LOVED it! it was so good I couldn't even put it down. I am a slow reader- very slow but, it probobly took me about a week to read. you really get into it. anyone who reads it loves it. when i say this book is great!!!!, i am speaking for my whole grade of 50 people. i love this book- it's my favorite book (and 1 of the few I've actually enjoyed & finished).-love it. whatever your type is- you definetly should read this book. you'll LOVE it.
