    March 31, 2007: This book was sooo good. It hooked me right from the prologue. Shannon Drake wrote this book so beautifully that the words practically flowed off the pages. It was also historically correct! That is a major thumbs up for me. Alot of authors don't take all the time to research the era they are writting and end up with incorrect details of history. I could not put this book down, literally! I was so eager to finish it I carried it around the house with me incase I found some spare time to read in between house work. A definate buy! Shannon Drake never disappoints.

    October 05, 2003: I BOUGHT THIS BOOK AFTER READING KNIGHT TRIUMPHANT. IT SAT ON MY COFFEE TABLE FOR ABOUT A WEEK BEFORE I EVEN PICKED IT UP, I WAS SURE THAT AFTER READING KNIGHT TRIUMPHANT, THIS ONE WOULD IN NO WAY COMPARE. BOY WAS I WRONG, THIS ONE WAS EVEN BETTER. I READ THIS BOOK IN TWO DAYS, I COULDNT PUT IT DOWN. I FELT AS IF I WERE PART OF THE STORY AND I WAS LADY KYRA, AND I WISH I WAS. TO HAVE A LOVER SUCH AS ARRYN WOULD BE GREAT!!!! KEEP THEM COMING SHANNON.
