    Synopsis

Objective: Find Man. Must Be Rich, Handsome, and Successful.

Kate Svenson is attractive, successful, a brilliant businesswoman — and miserable. After three failed engagements, she realizes it's time for a PLAN...an organized, detailed agenda with a clear goal: finding Mr. Right.

The Cabins resort is ripe with eligible bachelors, all rich, distinguished, and ambitious — just her type. And they're dropping like flies around her...at least, that's how Jake Templeton views the situation. After he's stuck pulling her latest reject out of the swimming pool, Jake's convinced this femme fatale is trouble. Especially for him.

But can a man who's sworn off ambition for good and a woman hanging from the top of the corporate ladder find common ground in the unpredictable territory called the heart, where the word proposal takes on a very different meaning...?

January 25, 2010: Jennifer Crusie has a great style of writing that makes it easy to sit down in a chair and just lose yourself in her stories. Manhunting was fun to read. This is at least the fifth book by Ms. Crusie that I have read. My favorite book by far however is Anyone But You.

I Also Recommend: The Time Traveler's Wife, Something Borrowed, Bet Me, Tell Me Lies, Anyone But You.

December 12, 2009: I have purchased many books from this author and I must say this is my favorite. I loved the witty dialogue between Kate and Jake. It was refreshing to read a book where the heroine is smart, successful and going after what she wants in life. Sometimes you get tired of reading romance novels where the female wants to be saved. Well not Kate, she knows what she wants and is determined to get it. You must buy this book. This book is in my library for a quick read on a rainy day!!
