November 20, 2003: Though murder is hardly a hilarious subject, MC Beaton keeps things lightly moving along in this tale of a serial killer in a tiny English village. The redoubtable amateur detective pair, Agatha Raisin and her on-again, off-again fiance James, once again get involved in a criminal investigation despite warnings from the police. The books in this series are always fun; this is no exception.

June 21, 2003: This is the 1st book I've read in the Agatha Raisin series; it was suggested by one of the library staff workers. I just loved it.Agatha Raisin is very much a modern day business woman. She is quite 'outspoken' at times which sometimes gets her into a bit of trouble. She is like a younger Miss Marple, but a little more womanly so to speak and occassionly swears.A book definately worth reading!I did not want to give out any details in the book because it would ruin the thought process for the readers. I plan to read the other in this series myself this summer.
