March 28, 2008: I flew with Blue Max back in `The Good Old Days?. I?m not writing this review because Mr. Brown is a friend of mine but because he wrote a book that I didn?t want to put down until I read all of it, almost without stopping. It brought back a lot of memories about my tour `Over There? and what he writes about is really interesting, insightful and revealing regarding what happened back then and what we who were there went through over there and later on, over here. If you want and like a good narrative history, this book won?t disappoint you.

December 21, 2007: Mr. Brown does an incredible job of telling the story of his experiences with refreshing honesty and clarity which is seldom seen in the writing styles of other authors from similar situations. A must-read whether or not you like war, soldiers, flying, etc.
