October 04, 2007: Yes, this IS an action book, however I was very impressed with the book's deep character development. This is something that is greatly missed in the action/adventure book genre. Mr. Schoepp starts his characters as cardboard cut-outs, but by the end of the book they are very developed and I actually found myself caring about the characters by the end of the book. As a side note, the action sequences ARE top notch and very exciting as are the hot sex scenes, I actually found myself arroused by them. I can't wait for Mr. Schoepp's next book!
