      Synopsis

What would you do to save a world that's not even your own?

"Reba, if you don't come with us, you're going to end up getting killed!" Rhea says. "The only people that can stop the lizards are Bennie's family!"

"They aren't people, damn it!" Reba angrily says. "They are aliens! As far as I'm concerned, they are no better than the lizards!"

The Seven is the story of a family from another world-a father, mother and five daughters who have fled to Earth to escape a tyranny imposed by an alien race that has taken over much of the known universe. Now the family must stand its ground with only a few Earth allies to fight off a deadly invasion.

April 17, 2007: This book is about a family of seven from another world. The parents and their five daughters all have powers. The parents have the powers of the sun and are very good at using them. The oldest daughter can turn into a ghost and is very mischievous. She gets a kick out of scaring her younger sisters as well as others. The second daughter has the power of mother nature. She is very good with her powers, but is limited to using them only when she is outdoors. She and the third daughter have a 'seperation curse' on them. The third daughter has the power of winter. She has trouble getting her powers to work properly. They work on her emotions and she has no control over when they trigger. The fourth daughter has the power of water. Like the third daughter, she has problems getting her powers to work properly, as well. The youngest daughter has the power of wind and has similar problems to the sisters just above her in age. The book is a fun read. The oldest daughter's fun and games with her sisters and the comical use of the three youngest make it almost a comedy. The problem is that the seven of them and their Earth friends are fighting against the Lizasarian empire that is trying to destroy the planet. The book is filled with escapism, action, fantasy and some comedy. I know quite a few people that had trouble putting it down when they first started reading it, as it moves with a fast pace! The family is just like a real family, with the exception of their powers. The father and mother are very protective and the daughters are generally your average teenagers- they just have powers!!! Buy this and you won't be sorry!
