January 21, 2005: This book takes us back to the beginning of Russian-American political and maritual relationships. I did not like statements that 'all Russians are late' , or that 'all Russians eat bread with every meal.' I liked to read different couple's stories.

August 22, 2003: This book is okay, but it could use some update. The story of Sergey Esenin and Isadora Duncan is interesting, but that was in the 1920s! How about now? Things have changed quite a bit... Except for that, you will still find some good info about the Russian culture. True stories are always good to read, too.
