PreS-Familiar stories are told in simple, repetitive language; some are reduced to a sentence or two. There's no distinction made between the Old and New Testaments. The unimaginative, static illustrations seem derived from old Sunday School texts. Everyone is fair-skinned except for the Magi and, instead of exuding the robustness that characterizes healthy humans, the adults seem curiously prepubescent. November 21, 2009: Este un de los libros que leo a mi hija practicamente todas las noches. Nos encantaa por que al final nos abrazamos al momento en que el pajarito tras preguntar a varios animales y hasta una maquinaria, encuentra a su madre.

September 12, 2009: Me gusta leerle el libro e imitar a los animales , a el le canta el librito , tiene 2 anos y aunque no habla mucho reconoce los animales y hace el sonido se ellos , me encanta verlo como imita a la vaca , al perro y al gato..siempre me trae el libro para que se lo lea .
