In Yes, We're Open William Manchee shares dozens of stories of the struggles of small business owners or SBOs as he calls them. Each story is inspired by actual cases in which he has been involved over the last twenty-five years. From these stories Manchee relates his observations about the causes of small business failures, how they can be avoided, and how the small business can be turned around and made profitable. For the SBO already in trouble Yes, We're Open provides a comprehensive guide to defending the small business under attack including litigation strategies and the utilization of such tools as debt consolidations, workouts, bankruptcy, and reorganization. Manchee stresses the need for professional help and provides practical guidance in selecting attorneys, accountants, and business consultants to assist in operating and defending the small business. Written as a light, entertaining read Yes, We're Open is designed to be read cover to cover. Although packed full of valuable information it is not designed to be a manual but a collection of case studies and observations of the author that should prove invaluable to any SBO operating in today's difficult business environment.

July 10, 2003: This short and to the point book is addressed to the rising group of entrepeneurs in America. With no excess verbage, topics from law to insurance to forms of business are concisely explained in easy to understand language. ............. **** However, this is a book that will not only be a handy resource for the fledgling businessman or woman, but for consumers in general, especially in its useful advice in credit matters. Much of the topics might be common sense, but there is precious little of that, so instruction in it is always of use. ****
