September 19, 2009: Clearly this is Mr. Connelly's first book to be placed into print. However, I strongly look forward to all of his future endeavors as a nonfiction and fiction writer. Never before has a writer or more importanlty, a victim of child abuse or kidnapping written such a story that grabs a hold of you as a reader, straps you in and refuses to let you go until the very end. This is a wonderful and powerful book! I look forward to his future works. I could never have imagined such a childhood as the one the author puts forward.

Its a must read- and going to be given out for Christmas gifts this coming year!by Anonymous

March 17, 2009: I read this book for pure entertainment. The story captured my interest from the preface. The author writes in the vision of a child but to the interest of an adult and shows incredible insight into the psyche of the child. Absolute page turner. I could not put it down.

I Also Recommend: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, A Child Called It.
