October 05, 2009: The author,Donald Stevens,put together this very entertaining read. As with my experience as a Russian/Ukrainian Marriage Tour Guide for men from North America ,I can tell you this: The book is very factual. Almost everything he states in this book I know to be true. It is very entertaining,it gives you a feel of having a discussion with a friend as you read. I've read other books that came along after this book and they don't have the reading appeal that this book has. Another book out there shows a slutty looking girl holding a passport and popping out of a box ! HOW RUDE IS THAT!! In this book the author says he did that to get your attention,well getting attention doesn't make it morally right. Donald Stevens book is a great way to prepare for a tour to find your wife. September 06, 2006: This book is a 'must read' for anyone even remotely considering dating Eastern European women. I've lived in Eastern Europe for 5 years, and the past 3 yrs. in Kiev, Ukraine. The information in the book is simply great, I only wish it had been written 5 years ago. The women of E. Europe are wonderful, but it IS a different culture. Without this book, you're simply stumbling around in the dark, making classic mistakes, and at best, learning through trial-and-error. If you're coming here for business, in search of romance, or simply as a tourist, you can't afford not to read this!
