      Synopsis

Following the huge success of her latest novel, author Jessica Martin is faced with a dilemma. Famous Hollywood director/producer, Ray Hanson, wants to purchase the movie rights to her book because he believes it has Oscar potential. Though reluctant at first, Jessie invites Ray to her Mississippi home to discuss the possibilities and promptly falls in love with him. Ray is an attractive, married man with children. Jessie is an overweight, unattractive single woman. Her Christian beliefs, her love for children, and her self-effacing attitude keep her emotions under control. When Ray and his family come to her home to film the movie, Jessie comes to love and cherish the entire family. With filming completed and things back to normal, Jessie goes on with her life. She experiences some physical changes, and at just the right time, God brings the Hansons back into her life.
