Synopsis
Mild-mannered think-tank wizard Jack Rigby becomes an accidental witness to a shoot-out between a cop and members of a biker gang. Jack brings home the only survivor, a biker, and nurses him back to health. The biker befriends Jack by giving him a motorcycle, and an unwanted house guest: a 15-year-old orphaned computer genius. September 02, 2005: This is a book that cuts across many lines. It's a mystery, an adventure story, a biker tale, a love story, a story of overcoming adversity, a story of building your own future through positive thinking, and it's also a great story about motorcycles, especially Harley-Davidson motorcycles. I found the book to be a page-turner that bikers will enjoy. It stresses the proper way to learn to ride including taking the MSF course and it stresses proper equipment and apparel to use when riding. Most other books don't go into so much detail. It puts everything neatly together to weave a tale that involves suicide, murder, motorcycle gangs, terrorist activities, love interests, advanced computer and communications techniques, the Internet, the renewal of life, and at the same time, the everyday goings on of legitimate motorcycle dealers and motorcycle groups. I highly recommend Rigby's Roads.

March 22, 2005: From the first page I could not put the book down. Jack reminded me a lot of myself only I am the female version. The characters were wonderful, helping Jack realize there is more out there and he just needs to go after it. With out giving away to much you can not help but either love or loath the characters. The book teaches the lessons of life about falling in love, standing for what you believe in and defending what you know is right. Parts made me laugh and cry out loud within a few pages of each other. I finished the book on a weekend trip then passed it on to my husband and my father to read. And have since bought several copies for friends and family as gifts. I would recommend reading this great book whether you are a man or a woman, young or old as long as you have the spirit of life and if you don't it will open your eyes to what you are missing.
