October 09, 2003: Another excellent book from Safi Abdi. This book is a very well written book about war and refugees in Somalia. Reading the book gives you the impression that the author is telling a story that may very well have been happening. This Somalian civil war has been going on for more then 10 years and lots of people have died while thousands have been scattered around the world away from loved ones and family. This book should be a must read for all peace lovers and especially all Somali men all over the word.How can Somali men living abroad and in Somalia look at themselves in the mirrow every morning and then continue with this terrible war. Somali men, look at your women, it's time you let them take over the control running this beatiful country. The Somali men have shown they are not able to look after their own family let alone their country. A very well written book, thanks to the author for writing about this terrible war that everyone seems to have forgotten.
