October 25, 2004: I did not know what to expect but was moved by this somewhat moody saga. This story of a Southern family with its' unforgettable members: Uncle Leon, Granny, Aunt Shirley, Pa Daddy. The family secrets are definitely Southern style; they haunt the family for generations. The book is well written. I want to read more by this author. Jo D Wright, In the Company of my Sistahs BRC.

April 05, 2003: This book merits reading. From the start to the finish it is everything you expect it to be and more! This author recomends it strongly. Also, as an author, Willie and I have shared the spot light at book signings and even on Television and Willie shines like the morning star.
