      Synopsis

The second book in a new Fantasy series The Dragon and The Rose from Maryland author, Diane C. Hundertmark. It is set in a world where Magic is scoffed at in some kingdoms, but it is the driving force behind the power of the crown in another. In fact, the Magic of the land and the Dragon who is its personification make the very choice of who wears the crown of Westfeld. Rich in texture and seeped with intrigue the first book follows one young man, Richard D'Cygnet, as he makes tough choices about his life. What he decides sends shock waves through four kingdoms; while a jealous foe, his stepfather, the Magic of Westfeld, and the Dragon all try to influence his decisions to meet their ends.

Now Richard D'Cygnet has made his decisions and faced his "Turning Point", now he must face the consequences and repercussions of what he has chosen. The challenge is to stay alive through it all. It is still yet to be seen if he will survive the confrontations to come.
