October 28, 2002: This book helped me understand the basic principles of mathematics. Last year in Math anal, I barely pulled an A at the semester. This year, Calculus has been a breeze, thanks to Euclid! (Well, maybe it's not all him, but it has helped much.) I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. Actually, if you can, try and buy a version without all the notes. You don't want them. All they do is list different Greek expressions and translations of them which don't matter to most of us anyway. Get your hands on the juicy part- the part written by Euclid.

February 10, 2002: For anyone who has or will study mathematics at the analysis level, this is a must read. It explains so many of the elementary things that we use almost without comment now in modern geometry. Great read, [this from a lowly undergrad however :-( ] .
