July 24, 2006: I love this book. It has great down-to-earth reviews of the best local L.A. restaurants. I mean, the city is so big one all-encompassing book is just too much. This book only gives you the good stuff.

July 18, 2006: I'm in L.A. a lot on business and I'm always looking for new places to eat, especially when I'm out with clients. Since I don't really know the scene out there and since Sizzler's doesn't really impress anyone, this book is a life saver. The reviews are simple and clear and let me know where to park and what kind of food/scene to expect. I read the last edition of the guide and this one's even better. I just slip ths bag into my briefcase and I can find a place that will impress any of my clients no matter where I am in town.
