May 29, 2005: This is a book! Oh my. Where do I start? There is no book like this. I have never read anything comparable to it. It is so human and humane. It is so embracing of the human experience. Connecting and comparing Eastern and Western versions of what it means to be human the author has created a rare work to say the least. This non-fiction book deserves a wide-reading. So much literature is redundant. I am sure that thousands of titles are released each year. And I can only state that there is no book like this one out there. I read constantly and am so grateful to the author for going through the journey of blessing the world with this rare work of keen insight. You won't be disappointed. This will be a treasured volume in your collection. I am in awe that someone could write such a book. This is one of those books that when you read you realize it is a book that you had long hoped someone would write. And David Jon Peckinpuagh most definitely has!!
