    Synopsis

Five days before her wedding to a man she admires but doesn't love, Katrina Spencer escapes to a private island. There, she can let the sun warm her body as she contemplates a future without the passion she craves. Then she lazily opens her eyes, only to see Brock Denton . . . muscular, half-naked, the one who got away—the one who makes her body tingle with arousal.

How Brock arrived is a mystery, but it's clear he's in danger. Kat faces danger, too, in the arms of a man who is determined to free her from her every inhibition with his hands, his mouth, and more!

Kat has five steamy days and five sultry nights to make up her mind—return home to a man she doesn't love, or satisfy her wildest passions with Brock and let herself be . . . swept away.

November 11, 2009: This book is amazing. I fell in love with it from the first chapter.

If you have ever lost a love and carried it with you through the years, this is the book for you.

Katrina is one week from her wedding, marrying someone she is not truly in love with. Brock is her first love, and the man who (went away.) Kat goes to her families island to get away and think and guess who washes up on shore. The story is very dramatic and exciting. These two have a ton of issues to work out....when you think this can't end well, love wins out. Definitely one I will put in my library and read again! We all dream of being Swept Away at some point in our lives!

August 12, 2009: I love Toni Blake but if you are expecting this book to be like any of her others, think again. The story line was too predictable. I guessed the ending by the second chapter. To much going back and forth between the charcters and if he called her "kitten" one more time I was going to gag. Sorry to say I couldn't even finish just skimmed through until the end. But I am not giving up on Toni. I love all of her other books and strongly recommend them. Just not crazy about this one.

I Also Recommend: After the Night, Angel Creek, First You Run, Then You Hide, Now You Die.
