      February 22, 2007: I consider myself a specialist in the nightlife scene in New York City, but this book is an amazing companion--especially when you have friends coming to town and they want specific types of venues. Not only is it informative, but the writing provides some well needed humor in an area lacking the kind of tongue-in-cheek snarkiness that goes with those nights to forget. These people know their bars, drinks, and, most importantly, how to help provide a great night out.
