    October 01, 2009: The bone series ran for many years before it was finished, thankfully jeff smith decided to collect all of the comics in this giant collection.

    Now this book is over 1000 pages long, and is generally sold for around

    forty bucks, but is it worth that much?

    I am thrilled to say that it definitely is worth it. Bone was one of the

    greatest comics series of all time and now its one of the best graphic novels too!

    This really taught me that not all graphics novels have to be grim and depressing, which isnt bad but it can get old after a while. What is

    amazing about bone is that the story can be taken very seriously, especially toward the end but it is still lighthearted and funny.

    Its also nice to finally have a graphic novel appropriate for the younger

    audience, I read this whole book to my younger brothers and they loved

    every page of it!

    There is just about nothing bad about this book............ seriously.

    June 24, 2009: We purchased this book for our daughter. She loved the characters so much that she was reading through the first two books rather quickly. She came home from school shortly before she finished the second book and told us that there is a book that has the first nine books in one. We decided that instead of going every week to the bookstore we would save money and gas by purchasing this for her. Wow! What a blessing this turned out to be. Not only did this accomplish what we needed, but she really enjoyed the book. When she finished this the other night, she came to me and could not stop telling me about the book. If you have a child who gives you trouble taking the time to sit and read, I would highly recommend this book. Our daughter has learning difficulties and this book kept her reading right to the very end. When the next set of books comes out like this we will be there to purchase it.
