April 06, 2009: What a great little book- it has more practical wisdom for traveling than I've seen in my life. The ideas in this book were all submitted by travelers, so they have been tried and tested. Some of the ideas are so simple you'll find yourself saying, "Why didn't I think of that?" Others are so brilliant that you can't believe someone thought of it! This is a book that you will enjoy reading, and you will want to share it with your friends. Anyone who doesn't learn a trick (or 2, or 3, or 10) from this book must not be a very good reader! The first thing I did was get rid of my shaving kit, and replace it with a Nalgene bottle. I empty it when I reach my destination, and have a bottle for carrying water. Simple, but brilliant.

    It's a Great Book. . .by Anonymous

May 22, 2008: It s a great book as long as you keep in mind what it ISN'T. It isn't one person's essay on how to travel. Instead, it's a collection of tips from a lot of people. Some tips will be great for you and some won't. But just a few of them could make the difference between an outstanding and a mediocre trip.
