      Synopsis

Devyn Barat began writing poetry at an early age as an outlet for depression and anxiety. Through writing and spiritual studies, Devyn found a way to transformation and recovery. Now, in achieving the goal of publication, he has also found a way to share this inspiration.

There are poems lurking in a budding rose, the rustle of leaves, the smell of the sea, the tear of a child, the arms of a lover, and in every poem, a lesson. Devyn Barat takes their inspiration and wisdom, locking them in verse to be shared.

January 20, 2008: This book of poetry is very thought provoking, as well as mind and emotion stimulating. The author really opens up his feelings, emotions and views on life, love and relating with others with his reader. The poems are `real? and I can relate to them and appreciate his honesty and freedom of expression. I recommend this book to anyone that wants to read the author?s point of view of life and love. Happy Reading, Thinking, Feeling, Living & Loving!

December 27, 2007: From the very first page I was moved both emotionally and spiritually. This book literally touched my soul and sparked an immediate response that brought forth a rush of passion and curiosity that had me compelled to keep turning page after page. Never has a book struck such a cord as this one has. This author has shown the dark and light of raw human sexuality that borders on the erotic. I would suggest reading this book in bed with your favorite partner by candle light with a glass of wine. You will NOT be disappointed!
